After seeing their 15-match winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Texas Ranchers on Sunday morning, the New Jersey 5s wasted no time getting back to their winning ways as they swept the Brooklyn Pickleball Team 3-0 to claim the Super Sunday Belt at MLP New York presented by Cleary Gottlieb.
Despite the earlier loss, the 5s still advanced to the #1 v. #1 matchup from Group A thanks to holding the tiebreaker in net game differential from their other matches.
That set them up to face Brooklyn, who won Group B with a DreamBreaker victory over the Dallas Flash earlier Sunday morning.
