First visit to High Park pickleball: a practical checklist
· 7 min read

High Park is Courlo’s flagship public guide — free outdoor drop-in on the dry pad (BYO portable net) and shared tennis courts in season. This checklist compiles what we publish on the court page so you can show up once and play.
Bring: paddle, balls, and a portable net for dry-pad courts; water and sun protection (shade is limited); shoes suited to hard outdoor surfaces. Tennis courts use tennis nets — read the court note on site.
Timing: weekday mornings are usually quieter; weekday evenings and weekend mornings are typically busiest (estimated, not live data). Expect to rotate about every 30 minutes when others are waiting.
Access: on weekends and holidays the park closes to private vehicles — take Line 2 to High Park or Keele station, or bike/walk. Weekday driving enters via Parkside Dr with limited paid lots.
Don’t confuse this location with High Park Club (private indoor courts at 100 Indian Rd). Courlo lists them separately on purpose.
