Drop-in doubles is about flow: call the score, agree on side-out vs. rally scoring before you start, and keep warm-ups short when people are waiting.

On crowded pads, stack paddles clearly, announce when you’re exiting at the rotation interval, and invite weaker players rather than freezing them out — public courts work when everyone rotates.
If skill levels are mixed, agree on a casual vs. competitive game before the first serve. Permit holders and park rules still take precedence where posted.
